Mango Strawberry Basil Infused Water

A colourful mix of mango, strawberry and basil make this fruit infused water a refreshing and exciting beverage to sip on hot summer days. Enjoy it with ice and/or a straw, beach and vacation are optional, thanks to this flavourful mix summer is wherewer you drink it!
Serves: 1 large pitcher of 2 litres
Ingredients
  • ¼ mango diced up
  • ½ cup sliced strawberries
  • 2 lemon or lime slices
  • 4-8 basil leaves
  • water
Instructions
  1. Wash and hull the strawberries, then slice them up depending on their size (mine were small so I only cut them in half).
  2. Put the strawberries, the diced up mango, the lemon or lime slices as well as the washed basil leaves in your pitcher, fill it up with water and put it in your fridge for a few hours (1-3) to let the fruits infuse the water.
Notes
The longer you leave the fruit in the water the more intense their flavour will be.

This amount of fruit is enough for 1 large pitcher of about 2 litres or several smaller glasses/jars.

Only use organic lemon/lime, you do not want to let citrus treated with chemicals steep for hours in your drinking water.
